Review: Crazy for the Storm (original post 7/17/09)

Last night I finished Crazy for the storm by Norman Ollestad. It was ok. In 1979 the author was the sole survivor of a plane crash which took the life of his dad. The book alternates chapters of the year before the crash (skiing and surfing and dealing with family) and telling the tale of the crash itself. I wanted more crash and less surf, but by the end understood why he did both.
