I just finished reading Gordon Korman's The Juvie Three and I really liked it. It follows three teens who are taken out of prison and given the opportunity to live in NYC in a half-way house experiment. Their adult chaperone has a horrible accident and the boys must decide if they are going to flee and become felons on the run or follow the rules without an adult telling them what to do. I liked the relationship between the three teens and their "chaperone" as well as the thought processes that each boy went through.
