Title of the book I've just finished: Angus, thongs and full-frontal snogging: confessions of Georgia Nicolson (by Louise Rennison)
Genre: Humor/Youth Lit
Pages: I stopped at page 150
Summary of the book: (from the back) Her dad's got the mentality of a Teletubby (only not so developed). Her cat, Angus, is trying to eat the poodle next door. And her best friend thinks she looks like an alien--just because she accidentally shaved off her eyebrows. Still, add a little boy-stalking, teacher-baiting, and full-frontal snogging with a Sex God, and Georgia's year just might turn out to be the most fabbitty fab fab ever!
My thoughts on the book: 3.5 out of 5. The girls at my school rave about this series of books and I had no idea they were British! I am surprised they understand all the references (I do since my parents are British so we went often growing up). Perhaps this book is better if you are in high school. There were parts that I thought were funny, but I got sort of sick of the same thing. I wonder if part of the problem is reading so many books in one day...
