I had a nice time on my Birthday though the morning was definitely anti-Birthday (grocery shopping, walk the dog, drive my daughter to camp). But then I watched an episode of a fun new British series we've discovered (Doc Martin) and had my pool party/get together. Lots of fun!

Helen, Thank you so much! I received The Help in the mail this morning to my utter delight! I have wanted to read this book for a VERY long time but I have put it off again and again for various reasons. I entered your contest but then forgot about it (sorry!) figuring I wasn't going to win one of the great books.
