What interesting-sounding books! Hope you have a great week.
Here's my Monday:
(click on my name)
I started Last Night at Twister River, which I am really liking quite a bit. I am supposed to be reading several others at the same time but you know how that goes :)
Laurel-Rain--Thank you for stopping by. I saw your list and what a lot of fun Christmas books
Ti--I've never heard of Twister River and look forward to your review. I cannot read more than one book at a time either!
I look forward to seeing what you think of the Mitali Perkins book. Happy reading. I was sick over the weekend but I got some reading done.
First Kill Your Family is a horrible title for a book yet it explains so much about the challenges in Africa. I'm reading a book about the Congo right now, the violence towards women.
Have a great week!
I have Wanting Mor on my school library shelves and have been recommending it to students. Now I want to read it!
Pussreboots--I loved Perkins' book Bamboo People so am looking forward to the Secret Keeper
Mari--I agree, the title is horrible and I think was probably chosen since the first story is of a boy who had to kill his parents. But, I think it's also for the shock factor
Staci--I am going to add Wanting Mor to my school library collection tomorrow.
