Family and Life:
Pretty good week here at home. My daughter and I attended a fun event called Breakdance Project Santa Barbara, created by Everybody Dance Now! There were talks by local officials and then we got to attend 4 different breakdancing workshops (my personal favorite was the robot one). I haven't been to such a diverse event a long time; it was great!
I also went to my first Board meeting for Turn the Page Uganda. We are slowly getting it all together and hope to get our non-profit status in the next few months. It's such a long process!
Work:
It was a crazy busy week at work with the start of the new term, visiting classes to talk to students about choosing SSR (Silent Sustained Reading) books, etc. But, busy is good in the library!
Books and Reading:
It's Bloggiesta weekend! I never get as much done as I want to, but here's an update since yesterday's post about it:
- Not a whole lot of progress since last evening. I am still hooked on making some of the sidebar stuff seem a bit cleaner so I think that's what I'll concentrate on today
Give Aways:
I have one give away still going on:
- A copy of Muslim Women Reformers by Ida Lichter. It's international and ends on Wednesday, January 26, 2011.

I'm tired after just one day of Bloggiesta. I just bought my domain, and ran into so many issues during the process of buying it. I love breakdance, I would have loved to attend that event!
Aths--I really wish I could devote a ton of time to Bloggiesta, but it always lands on a busy weekend. Oh well, we get done what we can and what we don't can wait for later!
