I loved Palace Walk - I really must read the rest of the trilogy soon.
I don't think I've read any other books set in Egypt - must do something about that too!
Loved, loved, Loved, Dreamers of the Day. that's the only I've read.
Not quite the same but one of my all-time favorite children's books is The Egypt Game by Zilpha Keatley Snyder.
Farmlane--I will confess that I haven't read any of them! My secret Santa gave me the Yacobian building so that's sitting on my TBR shelf

The Egypt news was the best thing that happened today. I am so happy for the people there. Thanks for all these great titles.
Diane--I felt so happy about it as well; I really hope it all comes together for the Egyptian people and they get elections. Most of all I hope the state of emergency is called off!
