I like to think of myself as a geography nut. I like both physical and human geography: maps, knowing where things are, understanding the cultures of different people, etc. And I love those online games where one has to place countries and cities on a blank map. So, here's one of northern Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Rethinking Schools online has a fun one where you have to place the countries in the correct place. There's no scoring, but it does make a nasty sound when you get one wrong (and you get a big red X"). I did really well except for Niger and couple of the "stan" countries.
Here's the link
So, take a try, see how you do, and let me know
(and no fair cheating by looking at a labeled map first)

This is a cool one! I didn't do that great, but got most of the Middle Eastern and Arab countries right. The 'stans' failed me too.
Aths--The Stans are tricky, but I am getting better at knowing the region
