In my first year of teaching I had twins in my class. They are now both grown up and teachers themselves. Their family owns a farm near our school and it's where we go to get our pumpkins and Christmas tree every year. They have a wonderful corn maze and old farm equipment. This year they had added this school "wagon" from 1901.

Wow, 'cars' sure have come a long way. It looks like it would make for a fun and bumpy ride.
Oh, I love shots like these...it takes us back and we feel nostalgic...thanks for sharing.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
What a wonderful old wagon! I'd love to take a ride in it. The farm sounds like a great place to visit!
That wagon is in remarkably good shape. What a find.
That wagon is lovely! At first I thought maybe it was something Amish.

Trish, Jlshall--They have a wonderful plow horse that pulls a hay cart around at pumpkin time!
Laurel-Rain--I liked that the school bus was yellow!
K., Alyc, Bev, and DIzzy--The farm owners do a great job of either finding vehicles in great repair or getting someone to fix them
Wow, can you imagine riding to school in that?
1901! That is such a long time ago! It's so wonderful to see vehicles from so long ago!
Burmuda--Talk about a bumpy ride!
Aths--I am always amazed at what great shape the old stuff is in
