- Star Wars--I mean episode III, the very first Star Wars that came out with Harrison Ford, et al
- To Kill a Mockingbird--Who could forget Gregory Peck in this one?
- Of Mice and Men--I like the more recent version with John Malkovich as Lenny
- Harry Potter--I LOVE the Harry Potter books and know that the movies aren't perfect, that a lot gets left out, but I still love (and own) them all
- Pride and Prejudice (and other Jane Austen books)--This is so not my kind of book to read, but I love the movies/BBC TV series
- The Boy in the Striped Pajamas--I didn't love the book, but the movie is well done
- Kite Runner--The movie has the same tension as the book does
- Fried Green Tomatoes--I thought the movie did a wonderful job at capturing the characters and the mood of the book
- War Horse--Ok, this isn't a movie, it's a stage play, but it was a wonderful rendition of the book
- Carrie's War--This was a BBC movie, but it was so well done!
