Watched:
Cycle 15 of America's Next Top Model--this is such a silly indulgence, but my daughter and I tend to watch a cycle when we go on vacation. We watch the Youtube videos of it and can fast forward through all the junk and there are no commercials. Actually, I find the photography really interesting.

I've not read Mitali Perkins and need to add this to my wishlist. I'll be interested in your review of The Case for the only child, I am a parent of an only. I like how you watch a "cycle" of a show. I didn't know that you could watch on Youtube. I tend to get engrossed in a series and have to catch up on them all. I just finished watching all 4 seasons of Mad Men and loved it.
The Madonnas of Leningrad is a wonderful book. I have been wanting to read Sisters of the Sari and Before I Go to Sleep is patiently waiting for me on my shelves. Enjoy your books and your week.
My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/06/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-45.html
Bonnie--I was kinda' disappointed with the Case for the Only Child. I didn't say this in the review, but I felt like she was a bit defensive
Jennifer--So glad to hear you liked Madonnas! I keep picking other books over Sisters of the Sari, but I'll take it on my vacation and that way I'll read it
I'll be curious to hear what you think of The Madonna's of Leningrad. I keep hearing about the title but the storyline.
I'm curious about "Sisters of the Sari". I never heard of it before. Looking forward to reading your reviews!
p.s. Is there going to be a Middle East Reading Challenge for 2012? I feel like I jumped in too late and will love to do it again!
Anne--I am really looking forward to reading Madonnas as I love the idea of a world history and art combination
Rummanah--How funny you should mention the Middel East Reading Challenge. It is supposed to end July 31 and I am trying to decide if I should renew it for another year, stop doing it, or make a perpetual challenge...
