I loved Lisa See's Shanghai Girls so am really looking forward to reading her most recent, Dreams of Joy which follows May's daughter's journey back to communist China in the 1950s.

It took me a few pages to bet back into the swing of who each character was, but I am humming along now!

Wow... the cover is lovely, and the book beginning sounds positively intriguing. I think it's a book I'll have to keep on a lookout for.
