We're nearing the end of 2011 and it's time for me to do my challenge wrap-up posts. I am proud to say that I've finished every challenge that I signed up for this year! I get right on my challenges as January rolls around, plotting out when, but not necessarily what, to read for each challenge so that I don't forget about them. A little organized, yes, but it works for me.
The idea behind the Mystery and Suspense Reading Challenge is that we are to read at least twelve books. Here's my list:
- Murder on the Down Low by Pamela Samuels Young (Adult)
- Shine by Lauren Myracle (YA)
- The Death Instinct by Jed Rubenfeld (Adult)
- Cemetery of Dreams by S. Mostofi (Adult)
- Finding Nouf by Zoe Ferraris (YA)
- Fade to Blue by Bill Moody (Adult)
- Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin (Adult)
- Hangman by Faye Kellerman (Adult)--one of my favorites
- Trash by Andy Mulligan (YA)
- Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson (Adult)--one of my favorites
- For Blood or Money by Nathan Everett (Adult)
- Zora and Me by Victoria Bond and TR Simon (YA)
- Death of the Mantis by Michael Stanley (Adult)
- Wife of the Gods by Kwei Quartey (YA)
