What's going on in my personal life:
This past couple of weeks have felt so very full without really accomplishing much. It's mostly been running around doing stuff for dance and my daughter, which means NO READING! It's all very sad.
What's going on in my library at work:
It's official--next year I will be a Technology Coach part-time and a Teacher Librarian part-time. My hope is that a good friend of mine will take over the other part-time of the library. We work really well together and it would be so much fun to work with her again.
What's going on with my reading:
I went to a really good author event Friday afternoon at a local high school. Three amazing authors (Stephanie Perkins, Nina Lacour, and Gayle Forman) answered questions, talked about writing, reading, and themselves for about an hour.
My reading has been virtually nonexistent the past three weeks so I bought a copy of Nina Lacour's new book The Disenchantments and am hoping that will get me going again.
