- Diversity Reading Challenge--I have read 1 book for this challenge: it was set in an Aztec-like kingdom.
- Non-fiction--I have read 0 books for this challenge so far.
- Literary Escapes--I have read books set in 2 states so far: California and Ohio; and in 2 countries: Canada and the USA.
- Read all of the ALA YA Award Winners--Winners are announced in February.
- Motif Reading Challenge--The January motif is "New to You" and I am counting The Widows by Jess Montgomery.
I haven't worked for the past week, but I go back tomorrow.
Personal:And, we got rain last night! For southern California this is a big deal. We managed to get rain, but not so much that it triggered mudslides or debris flows. So, it's all good.
