Last week started off with a three-day weekend, which is always nice. I spent my day off reading and going for a lovely walk to our Harbor with my dad.
Wednesday we began negotiations (I am the Chair of our teachers' union's negotiating team). This is always an interesting experience and will probably last a couple of months.
I've been listening on and off to the trial in the Senate and getting very frustrated with the partisan-ness of it all. I want witnesses and documents even though I know 67 Senators will not vote to convict. And Britain is now out of the European Union. What the heck is happening?! Now my British passport will be less useful. Sigh.
