Spring has sprung in Santa Barbara and we have been surprised with 8 (!) colors of irises (oh, I had to throw in the California Poppies, too). They make me so happy.
My daughter decided to do her PhD in Africana Studies at Cornell University! What a tortuous decision it was with all the good places to choose from. I am really happy for and proud of her.
I keep thinking about Project Hail Mary and how much I enjoyed it and yesterday learned that it is a finalist for a Hugo Award (Best science fiction), so that's really fun! And, a Hugo Award winner is one of the Popsugar categories this year so let's hope it wins 😀
