Since I don't have much news this week, I thought I'd include some photos. The first one is the view on my workout yesterday; the second one is just some flowers in our garden that I love; and the other three are of of mosaics (sun, crab, and bee) that I got from a friend. We've put them around the garden and I think they are such fun!.
I did get a new monitor from my company, which is really nice. I didn't realize how much better computer work and zoom would be with 2 screens, one of which is big.
We ran our first session about supporting students with disabilities and it went really well. Our speaker was interesting and gave the teachers useful information, and we had about 40 people attend.
I've been working a lot on two sets of awards: my high school alumni scholarship awards ceremony that is in a couple weeks, and the UCSB History Associates graduate student fellowship awarding. It's such fun work to give money to people!
Unfortunately, yesterday I attended a memorial for a former colleague; he was such a wonderful man and only 59 years old when he died.
