Here are some photos from the polo match last week; it was a really fun afternoon, but I'll be honest that I socialized more than I watched the match. The horses are beautiful and fast and it was crazy to watch skirmishes amongst the riders and horses. The second photo is the half way point in the match when the audience goes out and pushes down the grass divots, which I found humorous and kind of fun. They also serve champagne during this time out (such a weird social scene!) And yes, Harry played in the game. I'd also like to point out the other player with him is a Ralph Lauren model so he got a lot of attention as well!
My parents left this week for a long UK/Europe vacation and my daughter returned from her trip so she and I are establishing a routine of me working, her relaxing, and both of us cooking fun healthy dinners.
I was on call for jury duty this past week and I was put on the jury. The topic doesn't sound all that interesting and putting my life on hold for the next three weeks isn't very appealing. Not a good attitude, but once I get in there I am sure it will be fine. Actually, it won't be too bad because the judge makes it a friendly and relaxed atmosphere (and he is the dad of one of my high school friends), and we don't go to court on Wednesdays.
