This past week I bid on a condo (offering below asking) and my offer was accepted so I have spent much of this past week signing documents, going to the condo for inspections, etc, and feeling excited! Once it's mine I'll post photos. I have started packing, but it's a daunting task.
My daughter and I watched the first 10 episodes of a really good Korean drama: The Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Woo Young Woo is a young lawyer with Asperger's syndrome. She boasts a high IQ, an impressive memory, and a wonderfully creative thought process, but she struggles with everyday interactions. The show is fun, funny, serious, and a great show to watch.
On Wednesday my parents, daughter and I went to high tea at a local hotel that has fabulous views of Santa Barbara. I am not normally a tea drinker, but they had a mint/rose/vanilla tea that I thought was quite yummy.
Friday night I went to a Chicks concert (formerly the Dixie Chicks) and it was fun to be out in a crowd again. Our concert venue is outdoors and only seats 4500 so there are no bad seats; it's a great place to see a concert! I didn't know their music and found that I enjoyed it.
This image is the books that I hoped to read in July. I didn't do so well, finishing only 3 of them plus 2 that were not on the list. Blue ended up being my first DNF of 2022, I haven't gotten around to True Biz or Part of Your World yet so they are on my August pile.
