I had the opportunity to do something completely out of my comfort zone recently. I did a photoshoot with a local photographer who is doing a "50 over 50" project. She is shooting 50 women over 50 for an exhibition. Ack! Public photos in large format! But, the experience was really fun and the photos came out well, I think. It is strange to see myself with so much make up since I don't wear much except mascara on a regular basis.
Last weekend I got my Covid booster (#4) and Flu shot so spent 24 hours feeling feverish and achy. But, now I am ready to take on the world and see friends from near and far. As regular readers of this blog know, I love spending time with long-time friends so this week has been an amazing one for me.
Friday and Saturday the 2 graduating classes above me from high school had a joint reunion, which meant a ton of friends have been in town. It was so wonderful to see them, spend time talking, laughing, and reminiscing. Good for the soul! Somehow, I didn't take photos. I guess we were having too much fun.
