I did a better job of not taking on too many reading challenges in 2022 and I liked that. Here is the link to my challenges page and my wrap-up for all my reading challenges is below:
Popsugar Reading Challenge with Tara at Popsugar. I did not complete this challenge, reading in 46 of the 50 categories (this includes the "Advanced" section). I never finish this challenge, but I have a good time doing it.
Nonfiction Reader Challenge with Shelleyrae at Book'd Out. I completed this challenge since my goal was to read 6/12 of her categories and I read 9/12 with 19 total nonfiction books.
Alphabet Soup: Author Edition Reading Challenge with Lori at Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book. I was close to completing this challenge, reading books that had author last names starting with 24 letters of the alphabet (I didn't get I or X).
Alphabet Soup: Author Edition Reading Challenge with Lori at Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book. I was also super close to completing this challenge, reading books that had author last names starting with all 25 letters of the alphabet (I didn't get X).
Literary Escapes Reading Challenge, with Lori at Escape with Dollycas into a Good Book. I did not complete this challenge; I read books set in 39 states. However, I did read books set in 46 countries so that's pretty cool. To see where I read, check out my 2022 Google Reading Map.
Youth Media Awards, which is my own made up challenge where I try to read all the American Library Association Young Adult Award Winners of 2020. I did pretty well on this one, reading 9 of the 12 award-winning books.
I also participated in 2 other challenges that pop up during the year (Big Book Summer Challenge with Sue at Book by Book and the RIP XVII Challenge) and did well with them, reading 6 books for each of them.
How did you do with your reading challenges this year?
