On Sunday evening I went to one of my favorite nature walks with my parents, ostensibly to look for an owl that comes out to hunt at sunset. We never saw the owl (though we did see a Harrier Hawk), but instead I saw the sky. We have some amazing sunsets in the winter here and Sunday's was pretty spectacular.
Less spectacular is how my face looks and feels right now. My dermatologist prescribed this lotion to apply for 6 days to make pre-cancerous cells red, scabby, and then fall off. They will fall off, right? At this point my whole face is red, tight, and itchy, like I've got a bad sunburn. I am not feeling pretty. 😂
I did connect with a few friends this week (not a surprise, I know) and that is always a good thing.
