- Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney
- A Good Neighborhood by Therese Anne Fowler
It's been a fairly quiet week, which isn't a bad thing. I've been working both jobs, I've taken on an independent consulting assignment for some school professional development for a nearby district, and I've been helping my daughter navigate tough landlords (so not fun for her!).
Friday night I watched "80 for Brady," which was a fun movie. I didn't realize it's based on a true story. Have you seen it?
Saturday morning after my usual Farmer's Market trip, I went for a walk with a friend I haven't seen for a while; it was really good to connect and tonight I am having dinner with my parents. I am gearing up for another (unexpected trip) for next week, you'll hear all about it next Sunday.
I am having such a great string of reading with books that are fun, well written, and really capture my attention. It's such a wonderful feeling. How is your reading going?
Here is is the current state of my 2023 challenges. At this point, I am counting individual books for multiple categories in each challenge, but I'll replace them with other books throughout the year.
