The new job is sooooo busy! I know it will calm down in a couple weeks, especially when I know more about the platform and don't have to call in other EdTech trainers for help. I don't like bothering them to help me in addition to their own workload. Two women in particular have been helpful and one lives in the Philippines so my 6:00am meetings start at 9:00pm for her! Poor thing!
I've just started the new season of The Great British Baking Show. It is such a joy to watch! Over the past few weeks I've worked my way through Netflix's Designated Survivor. I like it and think the acting is good as well as the storylines. It definitely leans left (immigration, health care issues, etc). And, the "owner" of the show must have changed for season 3 as all of a sudden they are swearing a whole bunch when before there was none.
The new job means way less reading time for novels. I really need to rectify that!
Here is is the current state of my 2023 challenges. At this point, I am counting individual books for multiple categories in each challenge, but I'll replace them with other books throughout the year.
