I was hoping that this week was the last of the way-overbooked work weeks. It's been pretty brutal for the last two months. They are bringing in trainers from other parts of the world to help me, but only a tiny bit and I am trying to control my scheduling better. Fingers crossed that it helps. It does feel a bit like they are applying bandaids and that hiring a second trainer is really the best answer. Truthfully, I felt pretty defeated at work this week.
Last weekend I was out of town visiting a friend and it was a great visit. We watched Bridgerton season 3, Olympics, worked on a jigsaw puzzle, and went for a nice walk (early on since it was so hot).
My daughter is now out of town for a bit so I am on my own which means walks with friends, more cooking, reading, and lots of Olympics watching. I really love the Olympics and am so excited that they are in Los Angeles in 4 years. I've been watching gymnastics, swimming, water polo, triathlon, and track and field.
