Last Sunday, I went for a walk with a friend who was visiting from out of town; it was so great to see her! I also visited with my parents, which is always nice. Friday night two of my long-time women friends came over and we had a huge catch-up. We've seen each other through being single, getting married (and a divorce, mine), having kids and watching them grow up, and now we're all middle aged. What a wonderful evening of fellowship, laughter, and comfort.
This week, I watched Conclave and Lockerbie: A Search for Truth (PanAm Flight 103 bombing from 1988), both of which I liked. Conclave was good, but the twist at the end may have been too much, though it raises super interesting ideas. The Lockerbie disaster was huge when it happened, and this series featuring Colin Firth was fascinating, with information I had never heard about. Have you seen either of these? What did you think?
