- Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone
- The Color of Air by Gail Tsukiyama
Last Sunday I attended a speaker event for our university's History Associates that was really well done and super interesting all about public male tears in pre-modern China and how crying was a symbol of strength, masculinity, and caring for one's people/family.
On Monday, I attended a fundraiser for Delaware's Congresswoman, Sarah McBride (pretty cool, right, Sue?!). She is soooo impressive, thoughtful, approachable, and interesting. She talked a lot about how the "left" needs to work to bring people together, even if we don't agree on everything, and how difficult it is to get the message out that people are standing up to the President. She emphasized hope.
On Wednesday, I played my first round of golf (9 holes) and had a really fun time. The women I played with were so nice and supportive! My teacher organizes 60-80 women to play every week! Wednesday and Friday I danced.
